Northeast Corfu is blessed with some of the island's most beautiful coastline. Unlike the busier resorts to the south, this stretch of shore is defined by intimate coves, crystal-clear water, and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Here are the beaches we return to again and again.
Avlaki Bay

Avlaki is our home beach. The white pebble shore slopes gently into remarkably clear water that's ideal for swimming and snorkelling. Two excellent beachside tavernas serve deliciously prepared fresh food and cold drinks throughout the day.
Insider Tip
Fabulous for an early morning swim at the far end of the bay.
Kerasia Beach

Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches on the entire island, Kerasia is a sheltered cove backed by cypress-covered hills. The water here is an extraordinary shade of turquoise. It's a short drive from Avlaki through Agios Stephanos, and the beach has sunbeds for hire and a small taverna. Perfect for a late afternoon swim.
Insider Tip
Reserve a table for lunch at Taverna Kerasia, mention you are from the "original Aurora".
Agios Spyridon

One of the few genuinely sandy beaches on the northeast coast, Agios Spyridon is a wonderful choice for families with young children. The water stays shallow for a good distance, and there's a relaxed beach bar for refreshments.
Insider Tip
Pick up lunch at Nikos bakery in Kassiopi on the way.
Agni Bay

Agni is less a traditional beach and more a dining destination that happens to have beautiful water. The bay is home to three acclaimed waterfront restaurants. The best way to arrive is by water taxi from Kassiopi or Agios Stephanos — it's a memorable approach.
The northeast coast is where Corfu keeps its best secrets. Each cove feels like a private discovery.
Whether you prefer pebble or sand, secluded or sociable, you'll find a beach that suits within fifteen minutes of the villa. We recommend trying a different one each day — that's the beauty of this corner of the island.
